From September 20 to 27, EURORANDO 2026 will take over the Czech-Saxon Ore Mountains. Poles are interested in Czech spas not only for short stays, but they also want to stay for a whole week. This was demonstrated by the OPEN POLSKA pilot project, which was organized by the Czech Tourism Authority—CzechTourism and the Živý kraj Destination Agency in collaboration with seven hotels in West Bohemia. The goal was to determine how attractive a longer spa stay in Czechia is to Polish guests and to increase interest in Czech medical wellness. A total of 89 Poles took advantage of the opportunity to participate in the project, and 100% of respondents expressed satisfaction with their stay at Czech spas in a follow-up questionnaire survey. More than half of them reported, based on their own assessment, that they felt an improvement in their health. The results will now serve as the basis for creating packages for week-long stays through Polish travel agencies, as well as for further promotion. Read more…

Domestic spa towns come alive again with festivities, opening of springs, concerts and cultural festivals. Interest in the spa industry continues to grow. In 2025 alone, a total of 982,000 guests visited spa accommodation facilities in Czechia. There were 556 thousand domestic visitors, and over 426 thousand foreign visitors. The largest concentration of guests has traditionally been recorded in the Karlovy Vary Region, which remains the flagship of the Czech spa industry. For two days, Prague is transforming into a vibrant hub of global tourism. On 20 and 21 April, it is hosting the largest incoming tourism event in Czechia – Czechia Travel Trade Day 2026, organised annually by the Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism, this year in cooperation with Prague City Tourism and regional tourism organisations.
