The first ever meeting of tourism service providers and buyers from all over the world took place at the Prague Congress Centre. At the Events Club Forum, new event possibilities were discussed in the context of the current tourist attractions of the Czech Republic (CR). Tips and suggestions for the best MICE activities in the country's heartland in Europe were given so that guests could experience as much as possible of the traditional and the new. And the events brought the best possible business results. The meeting of the new international business platform for entrepreneurs in congress and incentive tourism was organized by Europe Congress, the main partner was the Czech Convention Bureau.
The two-day B2B working meeting across continents in June was followed up by regional familiarisation trips. The participants of the Events Club Forum could get acquainted with the current offer of congresses and incentive programmes not only in Prague, but also in the South Moravian, South Bohemian and Karlovy Vary regions. Events Club Forum had three parts: workshop, exhibition and educational.
 
„CzechTourism, under the umbrella of the Czech Convention Bureau, which is a part of it, also sponsors so-called MICE events. The MICE Bureau is the organiser of events supporting meetings, stays, congresses and exhibitions or events, i.e. Meetings – Incetives – Conventions – Exhibitions/Events,“ says director of the Czech Tourism Centre – CzechTourism Jan Herget and adds: „As far as the Events Club Forum is concerned, we would like it to be held regularly and become an essential tool for buyers and service providers in the tourism industry from all over the world. Thanks to this event, they will also get a detailed overview of what are the great places in the Czech Republic for hosting events of all sizes and thematic content. I am very pleased that already at the first edition came more than 200 buyers and providers of tourism services from 20 countries.
 
„The first ever Events Club Forum focused on European MICE buyers from the main source markets, i.e. France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belgium. Several companies from the United States also participated. The meetings confirmed the growing interest in incentive programmes in the Czech and Moravian regions, with buyers from neighbouring countries in particular asking about them, says Senior Manager of the Czech Convention Bureau Tereza Hofmanová and adds. From international association congresses or conferences to corporate events, teambuilding, etc.“
 
During the Events Club Forum, which took place at the Prague Congress Centre on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 June 2022, nearly 2,000 business meetings were held.
