Discover Central Europe

In cooperation with the national tourist offices of the Visegrad Four (V4) countries - Hungary, Poland and Slovakia - CzechTourism is implementing a unified tourism promotion under the Discover Central Europe banner, which aims to develop inbound tourism from distant markets to the Central European region.
Slide 1
The Visegrad Cooperation celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and activities to promote inbound tourism have been ongoing since 2003. The four Central European countries have been jointly presenting themselves in the traditional source markets of the USA, Russia, Japan, India, China as well as in new source territories with good inbound potential in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines), Latin America, South Korea and the CIS region.
Product-wise, the joint V4 marketing campaign is oriented towards classic and new communication themes - Central European cities, culture and history, UNESCO monuments, spa, health tourism, gastronomy, adventure and luxury holidays.
To promote the Central European region, the V4 countries use a range of on-line and off-line marketing tools, which are primarily focused on the B2B segment – web presentation, on-line campaigns, presentations and workshops, study tours.

Information and common materials on the V4 region are also available in electronic form on the web portal www.discover-ce.eu.
