On 7-9 September 2025, Prague hosted the fourth edition of the Events Club Forum, a prestigious international meeting focused on congress and incentive tourism. During three days, 270 professionals from the MICE segment met in the Czech capital to exchange experiences, establish cooperation and present new trends.
Europe at the forefront, overseas markets were also present
The event was attended by 144 service providers and 126 invited buyers. Western Europe had the largest representation (just under 40%), followed by Southern Europe (approx. 20%) and closely followed by Northern and Eastern Europe. However, representatives from further afield also came to Prague – from North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and even Africa.
Networking, business and inspiration
Each service provider was provided with 20 to 40 meetings with buyers, plus 15 networking events. The programme was complemented by three interactive learning sessions that offered inspiration and practical tips.
„The Events Club Forum platform, which brings together creditworthy clientele from around the world, is unique in its format. It combines elements of a B2B meeting and exhibition environment, allowing participants to tailor their participation to their exact needs,“ explains Director of Product Management, Research and B2B Cooperation Tereza Hofman.
The positive atmosphere was also reflected in the feedback.
„Up to 97% of buyers would recommend participation to their colleagues after this year's event, and 98% were satisfied with the results of the meetings. This confirms a very high quality selection of buyers, but also a well managed organization, which is absolutely essential for this type of event,“ adds Tereza Hofman.
Prague in the TOP 5, regions on the rise
Prague has long ranked among the TOP 5 global destinations for hosting MICE events. Thanks to its top-notch infrastructure and excellent public transport, it is one of the best connected cities in Europe. However, more and more attention is also being drawn to other domestic regions – for example, the South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions, which have gained a strong international reputation in recent years.
„South Moravia, Prague and the Moravian-Silesian Region participated in this year's edition, with their representatives very positively evaluating the interest from foreign buyers. We are very pleased with this trend of decentralisation and growing interest in the regions. It is a great example of how tourism contributes to the development of not only the metropolis but also other parts of Czechia,“ concludes Tereza Hofmanová.
What's next?
The organizers are already planning the fifth anniversary edition. It will take place from 30 August to 1 September 2026 and Prague will once again become the place where professionals from the world MICE tourism field will meet.
